1. Jisun, one of my FAVOURITE artists, is back after two years with a new song! In case you don’t know her, she’s collaborated a lot with artists such as Epik High in songs like “Paris” and “One”. I honestly love all her songs - they so so rich and deep with emotion. I also love her lyrics! She has a way of constantly using symbols and metaphors, in her songs, as a representation of her feelings. For instance, from her last album one song was titled 바람꽃 (Windflower). The windflower is a unique plant which lacks both a fragrance or nectar, and is therefore is primarily self-pollenating. The song has a beautiful tension of the limited time there is for a flower to “bloom” in a persons heart, but also realizing that blooming is ultimately determined on their own accord and the person’s. Another song describes her feelings through the story of “the little mermaid” (the real one, not the Disney version). 

    This song is no different, it’s called “바람아 불어라” or “Wind, blow on”. I’ve attached the lyrics below. Maybe I’ll do a translation tonight or so :D
